Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a well-known Indian actress, best recognized for her roles in the films Beta Saajan, Hum Aapke Hai Koun, and Beta Saajan. Her career began in the 1980s and came to prominence with her performance in the Tezaab film, in which she was a part of the cast alongside an established actor Anil Kapoor. In the following film, she was a part of Aamir in Dil. A middle-class family was raised in Mumbai she started learning dance from a very young age. As a young woman, she started acting but was not successful as a lot of her movies were unsuccessful. She eventually became one of the most famous actresses in Indian film. Following her marriage the actress took time off from acting until she returned. In recent years, Dixit played a significant role in Gulaab Gang a movie about the struggle of Indian women. Dixit has been nominated 15 times in the Filmfare Awards. She won 8 of the awards. Padma Shri is the fourth highest civilian honour in India. Her social work is also known to the world.
